yeah well. since you are the only guy who even tried, i’ll break the answer.
“Nuclear” ! It is actually NMR Imaging but people thought that the word Nuclear would make it unpopular in the medical industry for whatever reason, maybe its just because people dont want to deal with radiation everyday, and so the term was dropped and shortened to MRI.
Nuclear applications in medical science is huge now and everyday people are being treated with it, knowingly or unknowingly.
Well its nothing big but surely something to know about.

dey demi, glad to be of help !
the nuclear medicine could be anything ranging from chemotherapy to tumour detection to destroying the tumour in any part of the body. It would surely involve radioactive isotopes to generate gamma or other high energy radiation to destroy the cancer cells. As of now, nuke medicine has its uses only in the cancer side and for other detection techniques in medicine. So could be either one of the above.

Wow! Didn’t think that Nuclear radiation can be this controlled and focussed to the extent that it can be used to remove specific parts. Probably I subconsciously associated the term ‘Nuclear radiation’ to fission/fusion reaction radiations.. the nuclear bomb/nuclear reactor types, I mean.
