Another countdown. 3 days to D-day.

Exactly 15 more days left. I am feeling my guts churning out weird sounds and in queer ways. I am really scared about my qualifier exam. I guess, i am scared and excited, both at the same time. I don’t remember the last time i was this anxious to write an exam. Definitely not in REC or any of the other sem exams here. hmm. Maybe the IIT qualifiers after high school did come close. Anyway, this one is going to be different, i am sure and can’t wait to hit it head on.

Now officially, This is WAR.

This week’s been terrible. My research has come to a standstill because of a problem for which i know the reason, but have no clue whatsoever about the solution. This sucks. I was supposed to meet my prof thrice this week. Never met him even once.

I guess the bug in the code is trivial because i have checked all the complex use cases and it works mighty fine for all of them. Confused as i am, this damn bug is ruining my short sleep too. It is getting pretty pathetic.

My qualifier is drawing really close and i am beginning to get terrified now. I have lots more to read but so little time left. I think i am going to clear only two out of the three papers this time and take the last one in January. Hopefully, i should be able to pass them before Jan or else i’m done for 🙁

The one fun part is that i am leaving to Savannah, GA tomorrow to meet mayilan. Malli from boston is also joining us and i sure hope that this will turn things around … Anyway, more when i get back on Monday …

God. It happened just as they had predicted before.

The prediction was for a quake about 7-7.5 in magnitude but this one was a whopper and really beats most quakes hands down in its power (8.7) … Reports say that as of now, 2000 are feared dead and search is still underway. There has been no Tsunamis like the last one but the tumbling buildings have claimed enough lives …

I wanted to post about my trip to South padre but i guess i’ll do it later. Don’t want to write something like that right after this post.
